Projects Completed by Renew Port Holdings
2016 - Harbour Lights
Renew Port Holdings has been active in the Port Washington market since 2012. Its first project, now completed and fully occupied, was the building which housed the popular, well-established and iconic Harry's Restaurant, as well as the former M&I Bank in the heart of downtown Port Washington.
Harbour Lights Condominiums are located in the heart of Port Washington's Nationally Registered Historic Downtown, sheltered by the surrounding Seven Hills and Lake Michigan. The architecture and massing pay homage to the historic downtown, reinforce the retail character at the street level, while taking full advantage of the views of the harbor, the lake, and city. Retail space at the street level with 14 luxury condominiums above ranging between 1,520 sq. ft. and 2,479 sq. ft. (all sold) including decks with an optional mezzanine for three of the upper level units.
In the 1920s the unlikely location of Port Washington, Wisconsin, was the epicenter of blues and jazz recordings. Legendary artists like Ma Rainey, Charlie Patton, Alberta Hunter, Son House, BlindLemon Jefferson, Jelly Roll Morton, and Louis Armstrong all recorded for an almost forgotten record label, Paramount. Even more remarkable is the fact that Paramount was owned and run by a furniture company. One hundred years later, on the very spot where the legendary Paramount label was born, The Blues Factory is dedicated to preserving the Paramount story and celebrating the roots music of America. The Blues Factory, which will open on the Port Washington waterfront, will be a 24,000 square-foot cultural and entertainment complex housing four separate but interrelated uses.
